Rosie Danvers has been collaborating with Kanye since 2005.
After meeting in London, Kanye invited Rosie to orchestrate several of his tracks, including ‘All Falls Down’, 'Jesus Walks’ and 'Diamonds of Sierra Leone’ for a collaboration with Wired Strings at Milan Fashion week. The following week he invited her to perform with him at Live 8 in Philadelphia together with Wired Strings.
Their next project was a collaboration at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, for a live performance of West's album ‘Late Registration’. West continued to send her tracks throughout the Summer of 2005 until she had orchestrated the entire album, ‘Late Registration’.
This culminated in a live performance with a 16 piece string section and harpist with Rosie conducting Wired Strings. This iconic show was RECORDED and an album was made of the performance titled ‘LATE ORCHESTRATION’ which was released in 2006.
The making of this show ‘LATE ORCHESTRATION, LIVE AT ABBEY ROAD’ was filmed for Channel 4 and subsequently broadcast.
Kanye performed ‘Gold Digger’ and ‘Hear em Say’ with guest vocalist Adam Levine and Rosie conducting Wired Strings for 'Saturday Night Live' in New York.
That same year, on Kanye’s 'Touch The Sky’ World Tour, he performed every show with a live string section performing Rosie’s orchestrations from ‘Late Orchestration’.
In 2008, Kanye invited Rosie to Orchestrate and Record music for his critically acclaimed 'Glow In The Dark' World Tour.
Rosie has contributed to the albums, 'Late Registration', ‘Graduation’, ' My Dark Twisted Fantasy’ and ‘Yeezus' as well as various other releases by West. One notable track being ‘All of the Lights’ which featured Rosie’s Orchestration of Brass and Strings and went on to win 2 Grammy Awards.
