Back in January 2014 Rosie Danvers and Wired Strings recorded two tracks for indie band ‘PEACE’ together with producer Jim Abbiss.

‘We loved our session with ‘Peace’. Both ‘O You’ and World Pleasure’ were great fun to record, but playing along with the guitar riff on the outro of ‘World Pleasure’ made us feel like rock stars, if only for 5 minutes!’

LISTEN Track title: ‘O You'

‘The Independent’ review: Despite fronting pop’s current party-animal kings, he exhibits an engaging uncertainty and positive attitude that is utterly charming, best expressed in the opener, “O You”, where a warm wash of strings and cascading guitar runs accompanies his simple desire to “change the world that we live in… to make it better for your children”.

‘Slate the Disco’ review: A stream of rippling riffs and warming melodies opens the LP with ‘O You’, highlighting the positivity the album title beams. A finalising flash of strings closes the number, adding a feel of The Verve circa ’97 to the progressive second record.
